Enabling 32 bit access in Windows on Thinkpad

Has anybody tried enabling 32 bit access in Windows?  Any problems?  I am
planning on using Windows for Workgroups and wonder if there is any conflict
between the Thinkpad power management features and the 32 bit file and disk
access routines. It would sure be nice if there wasn't.

Any comments would be appreciated.
