NextStep, mouse trails, 3rd party HD's

1.  Anyone hear of the NextStep O/S being successfully run on a TP750?

2.  Mono screen Windows 3.1 users:  Any of you find the Windows mouse 
pointers/cursors difficult to spot under hostile lighting conditions?  On 
previous laptops I have been able to select the "Mouse Trails" option in the 
Control Panel "Mouse" applet to make the pointer more visible, but on the 
750 the corresponding checkbox is greyed out.  I assume this is a limitation 
of IBM's video driver;  has anyone else found otherwise?  

3.  Can someone point me at some third-party sources for TP-compatible 
hard-drives (internal)?  I am based out of Europe these days where hardware 
pickings are a little slim.

Directly E-mailed responses are OK;  if there's general interest in these 
topics, mail me and I'll compile and post summaries.  Might I suggest this 
sort of approach would ease the group's message overload a little, as 
opposed to a having a mass posting for every single O/S- and 
configuration-related issue.
