Instead, what I did, was just run the MS DOS 6.x _Upgrade_.... its cheaper (probably easier, too). The MS DOS 6 upgrade, however, expects to find a good copy of DOS before running. Using the MS DOS 6 Upgrade directions along with the thinkpad users manual on installing dos (remember to click on APM support, i think was the only real issue), i encountered no problems switching from IBM dos to MS dos. -Todd
