correct me if i'm wrong, but you just need the com2 definition port (as opposed to the "real" com2 thing), then can't you use the "assign" dos command. I know there is a dos redirect command for lp and com ports, but I may have the "assign" command mixed up with the VMS environent, which I (unfortunately) also work in...
