I don't know about the new performance version, but until its released,
live in the real world (that is, with the OS/2 that is available now). 8
MB? I would highly suggest you send back the 4MB module and buy a 3rd party
module--what you paid for it will get you twice the memory elsewhere. 8 MB
RAM is barely adequate for OS/2--but you won't be happy with it. Better to
figure on an 8 MB card and work with 12MB minimum, or as most of the OS/2
types here have chosen to do--get a 16MB card.

Reports have more or less said "no".

Can't help your here--I have no clue.

There is some doohicky available for $100 to $150 from IBM which
enables this to be done, or maybe the 32MB module soon available from Kingston
will do it.

No. If that's what you're interested in, you should buy the 755
series. In fact, I'm surprised that anyone buying a new 750-series ThinkPad
*didn't* buy the 755!

We try... :)

RPI! I spent 2 months in Troy/Cohoes and also 3 months in
Schenectady. I kinda like the Tri-City area.
