I was hoping that my post might spark some militant rebellion.

I say we set up, anonymously, and FTP site somewhere.  (where the sysadmin
can disavow any knowledge of it officially.) ... And THEN when they complain...
IF they complain.  We can then get rid of it.  Otherwise.. I'd really
like the disks myself.... *grumble*
