Should we try for a newsgroup?

The activity on comp.sys.laptops indicates at least several TP500 and TP3x0
owners are talking about starting up their own mailing lists.  A TP500 FAQ
has already been made.  What say we start talking about making a Thinkpad
newsgroup?  How many people do we have on this mailing list?  Is there
someone willing to handle the discussion and all?  (I'm moving next month so
I'll be tied up)
