Meanwhile, unplug the AC when suspend a 360 first time after system startup. 
(I usually do an unnecessary suspend to be sure that I run on batteries).
You may plug the AC back before awakening from suspend. Thereafter you may 
also suspend while running on AC.

BTW, How can the machine suspend properly while running on battery? The 
PCMCIA-ethernet works still fine after resume.
