Here is the long awaited documentation for the 1.13 System disk.
Apparently the only people who need this are 360/355 users, for 7xx users
there appears to be no change, unless you have a Dock II.

What This Diskette Does
-----------------------
This System Program Service diskette updates the system program stored
in ROM of the following ThinkPad models:
- ThinkPad 355, 355Cs, 355C.
- ThinkPad 360, 360C, 360P and 360Cs.
- ThinkPad 750, 750C, 750P, 750Cs and 750Ce
- ThinkPad 755C and 755Cs
If you are experiencing one of the problems listed in the following
Summary of Problem Fixes section, please follow the instructions given
in the Updating System Programs section below to update the system program
of your ThinkPad 355/360/750/755 family computer.
Summary of new function support

IBM ThinkPad Dock II Expansion Unit support
- ThinkPad 360, 360C, 360P and 360Cs.
- ThinkPad 750, 750C, 750P, 750Cs and 750Ce

If you attach your ThinkPad to the IBM ThinkPad Dock II Expansion Unit, please
use this level or higher, otherwise your ThinkPad will not work correctly.

1.06 The Screen Off Timer becomes inactive if any key other than "Fn"
is depressed to restore the screen.
1.06 System with some PCMCIA modem card installed may malfunction
when suspending.
1.06 Entering the suspend mode may be rejected for around 30 seconds
with beeps. (This is normal if the CDPD Mobile Communications
Module is installed.)

Updating System Programs
------------------------
Notes: - You need an AC adapter and a charged battery pack to update
the system program.
- If your computer is attached to a ThinkPad Dock I or a port
replicator, turn off the computer and detach it before
proceeding.
1. Print these instructions or display on another computer.
2. Firmly connect the AC adapter to the computer.
3. Insert the System Program Service Diskette into the diskette drive
and turn on the computer.
4. Select "Read this first" from the menu and carefully read the
information that appears.
5. Press Esc to return to the menu.
6. Select "Update system program" and follow the instruction on
the screen.
Warning: Do not turn off or suspend the computer until the update
has been completed. IF YOU TURN OFF OR SUSPEND THE
COMPUTER WHILE THE UPDATE IS STILL IN PROGRESS, THE SYSTEM
BOARD MAY HAVE TO BE REPLACED.
After the update has been completed, do the following to make the
changes effective.
7. Remove the System Program Service Diskette from the diskette drive
and turn off the computer.
8. Press and hold F1, then turn on the computer. Hold F1 until the
Easy-Setup menu appears.
9. If a password prompt appears, type the correct password.
10. Select Config, then select Initialize.
11. Select OK to initialize system.
Run the diagnostics to make sure that the computer runs with no errors:
12. Turn off the computer, press and hold F1, then turn on the computer.
Hold F1 until the Easy-Setup menu appears.
13. Select Test, then select Start to run all the basic tests. Various
test patterns will appear on the screen.
An OK will appear for each device that passes the test.
14. Verify that OK appears for all of the devices tested.
15. Press Esc to exit Test and turn off the computer.

The BIOS P/N and the date can be viewed by invoking Easy-Setup and
selecting Config followed by SystemBoard.
