Agreed.  The biggest design shortcoming in my opinion is the lousy PCMCIA
slot cover which is provided for use with an installed card.  Who needs
a sunroof in their slot cover?  This thing practically invites dirt, dust
and all other environmental nasties to take up residence inside your
machine.  Toshiba's implementation is much better - a hinged door which
covers the slot when not in use, but allows easy access for dongles, phone
lines, etc.

I love my TP, but there is definitely room for improvement.
