I just saw an ad for an external IBM drive. "IBM Spitfire. 1Gb Fast SCSI-II hard disk external" it's selling for $1450 here in Australia which isn't a bad price. Does anyone know what the throughput would be through a PCMCIA SCSI card. Is the performance drop substantial?
