I don't believe this was a problem with any previous version of OS/2. 
Users of those operating systems used the video drivers produced by IBM
specifically for use with the ThinkPad.  Warp comes with its own
drivers for the ThinkPad that are accelerated (unlike previous versions)
but which cause the corruption on monochrome LCDs.

Yes, Warp provides Win-OS/2 audio support, which we never had before. 
It works very nicely.  The Multimedia book (online help) included with
it gives installation instructions.  The new Warp drivers, it seems,
don't give us MIDI support, nor do they support SoundBlaster or AdLib
sound in DOS boxes, which we did have with the ThinkPad drivers for
OS/2.

This is correct.  The installation program automatically installs the
correct video driver.
