warp and suspense mode

there was some discussion about warp and problems with recovering from
the suspense mode.  well I didn't pay attention because I didn't have
that problem till now.  recently installed tcp/ip 2.0 for os/2 and now I
have the problem.  I couldn't even turn the computer off.  I had to
press that little thing on the back of the computer. 

any solutions?
