Practical Peripherals PCMCIA card modem?
I have corresponded with a gentleman that was also interested
(as was I) in getting an XJack-type PCMCIA modem in the 28.8K speeds.
He bought one, I have not. Now it appears he wants to
move on to different toys.
Anyone with any comments on the Practical Peripherals line of
PCMCIA modems and their compatibility with the ThinkPads and Easy-Play
software? I have a 750C and I wanted something like this, but I
was looking more toward Megahertz--problem is that Megahertz supports
V.34 but not V.FC (my USC Internet connection is V.FC but not V.34).
I look forward to any and all comments. Thanks!
