I presume you have LAPS installed since TCP/IP 2.0 uses LAPS.  Go to the
IBMCOM directory and manually edit your protocol.ini file.  One of the
options should be interrupt.  You can also set this via LAPS configuration.
Go to the IBMCOM directory, type 'laps' and select 'configure'.  Select
'configure LAN transports.'  Your 3com card should be the selected device
on the bottom.  Click on 'edit' and you should get to set the options in
your protocol.ini.

That should work unless 3com has their own drivers which bypass LAPS.
