a few weeks ago, i'd have dared saying any pcmcia modem. turns out it's not that
trivial, especially at high speeds and using hibernation and such. seems none
work properly with warp and hibernation.

i got a megahertz xjack cause it got some good reviews on the net, as well as good reviews on mhz tech support. turns out it's quite good via email, although it takes em a while to get back. 800 number might be quicker, but i can't use that.big plus on the mhz line is they're thinkpad proven and as such also have a
5 year warranty.

in case anyone is looking for a mhz non xj, nw but without any additional materiual for $110, i have a contact in texas. just email.

also look into misc.forsale.portables.pc-compatible for used pcmcia modems
