I use both a Dell PS/2 mouse and a Microsoft Db9 converted to PS2, 
regularly, with no problems.  Chances are your adapter isn't doing it's 
job properly.

Just a question for the list, does anyone interface the same monitor 
(15") regularly with both Macs and thinkpads?  I know Apple monitors are 
capable of this, will all the higher end DOS monitors work with macs (I'm 
looking at an NEC 3V).  Opinions?
