my xircom IIps pcmcia ethernet card seems to be able to wedge my 755CD.
for example, if i try to power the machine up with the xircom card in,
9 times out of 10 it will hang before booting -- even before you can get
into easy setup.
if i power it up first, and put the card in later, it will usually wedge as
soon as the card is put in (cursor doesn't track, power switch doesn't
work), but if i keep trying eventually i get lucky -- and then it works
perfectly until the next time i power the machine down.
needless to say, this is quite a hassle. i'd assume i got a bad card & send
it back to xircom, but it worked flawlessly for many weeks in a 750C before
i got the 755CD.
has anyone else seen a problem like this? has anyone else got a xircom IIps
in a 755CD?
