People were discussing this promo price on the list since just after the
card first came out!  I was foolish enough to pay list.

I don't know about the latest drivers, but with the original drivers this
could be worked around through extra software (using valuable memory) and
careful allocation of memory.

It's plug-n-play under Warp.  I'm not sure, but I think they may have
finally adopted card services under windows as well.  The Warp driver hangs
on boot if the card isn't in place.  This is annoying, but tolerable.  They
claim to be working on a solution.

Judging from messages on this list, it seems like people have been having
good luck with IBM cards under both windows and OS2.

There is an upgraded driver, denoted on the 3com bulletin board with an 'n'.
I would suspect that they include this with cards the're shipping now.
