drive letters for pcmcia cards

Is it possible to specify some parameter to the pcmcia drivers to map
pcmcia disks (or flash ram) to higher drive letters?  IBM wasn't able
to help me out with this.  I've not used pcmcia flash ram until now
and find that it displaces the mapping of my cd drive. Changing all
drive references for the cd would be a real pain now.
