The Pentium upgrade will not be work in a 755C. The Pentium upgrade kit
only works for the 755CE, 755CSE and 755CD.
Why a 755C? Price? I have a friend with a 755C (DX4/75), and he is not
very happy with it. It is not that much faster then my other friend's
Toshiba T2400CT (DX2/50) which cost (back then) half as much. If IBM is
gonna discontinue the 755CE line, maybe IBM will be cutting prices on them
real soon prior to their press release of the 755CX.
