Hello, I want to install on my TP755C a 810MB Drive and want to run one Partition under SCO UNIX 3.2.4.2! [My340 MB drive works fine (140 mb dos and 200 mb SCO); I used the EFS130 from SCO to install it, to get a special /boot programm for the IBM-kind of disks] This does NOT work on the 810 MB, because there is "LBA" on the Diskcontroller to run 810 MB under MS-DOS(LBA makes 786 cyls instead of the 1571 and 32 heads instead of 16 for ms-dos, or something like this). Of course I know, that the root-filesystem must be within the first 1024 cyls. Who can help me?
