Problem: 3com 3c589 PCMCIA card needs to be inserted for WARP to boot properly with TCPIP for OS2 2.0 installed. Solution: There is an update for the ELPC3.OS2 file (\ibmcom\macs directory of my system) which solves this, leaving NO remaining problems that I can find! 3cheers for 3com! I even got an email notifying me of the fix. The file is not on the 3com ftp site, but can be found in the patches and fixes directory of the 3com bulletin board. The file is 3C589N.EXE. From the look of it, this is a compressed 4.1 drivers disk with this one file fixed. Minor Tirade: One would think that a company which specializes in ethernet cards would update their ftp site before their phone BBS.
