755CD is still 640x480. As far as I know the only higher resolution TFT is the one on the high end NEC. It is a *very* nice screen, and I think I would have bought a NEC over a TP if it were not for the totally unusable trackball on the front of the case on the Versa (which is a shame, since NEC does use a trackpoint equivelent on some of their machines). NEC uses this high res TFT only in their own machines. The 755CD does have a pan and scan driver for high res, and does indeed support 16-bit color.
