Don't say no one will buy $5-digit note books. After all a fully loaded
TP has edged into five figures for a while (and would easily get there
if you could put a decent amount of memory on a TP, I find the 40Meg
limit to be a problem). The high end SParc books have also always been
in this price range. The current 100MHz Pentium notebook that Tadpole
is making is well up into this price range too.
