Programming interface to IR on 755....

Hello,

Anyone who has tried to program communications over the TP 755 IR interfaces?
Is there an own API - or can you treat it as a standard COM device?

And one last question - Does anyone have pointers to the standard documents on
which the 755 IR interface is based - if there is such a standard ?
