Just and FYI for everyone - 

as I type this, my Thinkpad is happily backing up its contents across the 
PCMCIA card that came with the KLX-D720 and onto an HP 2.0G SCSI tape 
drive, using ASPI controls. So I now have used the SCSI card for a SCSI 
device other than the Panasonic drive, and it's using the ASPI support to 
do it. Whoo hoo!

By the way - I still need a male SCSI2 to centronics adapter so I can use 
this PCMCIA card with traditional SCSI devices. If anyone knows a US 
source, please let me know.
