right, it is very important to realize that the trackpoint lookalikes
are NOT work alikes, many of them are real junk.

I read a review recently of the butterfly which said something like

"as you know, I usually severely criticize trackpoint type devices, but
 the one on the 701 is very good  -- bla bla"  (!)
