Let's use Easyserv as a model shipping: $50 support over phone to setup service: $50 well actually that's low I think, $100 might be more like it administrative paper work: $100 parts and labor $400 so that comes to about $500/TP near enough. This is of course VERY rough, but it is probably the right binary order of magnitude. Now of course this does NOT count the cost of the telephone service for assistance. I would guess that a typical customer consumes a few hours over three years at least, some consume far more. probably the cost of this kind of service is of the order of $100/hour, so there is another $few hundred. All in all we might be taslking $1000/TP for total service costs ....
