look at your adapter carefully. IBM seems to be frequently changing the
design of adapters. They started with a big bulky multi-voltage gizmo,
then went to a much smaller 110 vlt only, then back to a neater multi-voltage
design (the one with a wrap strap). I am talking about the adapters
shipped with the 700C-720C-750C-755C-755CD-755CX where I have seen this
progression.
