The tp 755CE comes preloaded with software called "Terminal,
 accessed via "Accessories" in Windows.  When using "Terminal" to connect my 
tp 755CE, at 9600 baud, to the Stanford University computer system, via 
Forsythe, my e-mail, for example, slows down by at least 50 percent, and some 
of my keys lose or change their configurations, e.g. the backspace loses its 
function completely.

Does anyone know why?  And, is there an updated version of "Terminal" 
(I acquired mine in late March).  Thank you!  D. L. Bark
