8 -> 16 MB with WARP is a huge improvement, enough for most purposes in upgrading consider going with a DIMM and an adaptor if you can find an 8 meg DIM (I have only seen 4 and 16's so far). If there are 8 meg DIMS, the advantage is you can add another later without having to junk the first one. The straight price on an 8 meg credit card should be about $350
