If RW is charging for a "BIOS upgrade" on the Thinkpad, they need to be
shot. I don't think that anyone already paying for a drive (meaning they
are already getting profit) should pay more then $0.20 for someone to put
a disk in a machine and hit a button.
See the TP FAQ about upgrading the BIOS with the system disk (available
off ftp.pcco.ibm.com)
Trust me, swapping drives in the case is _not_ very hard - certainly not
worth $100. _I_ will do it for anyone on the list for $10 and you pay
shipping, if you don't feel confident enough to do it yourself.
