Windows95 & APM

Anyone have any luck with APM and Windows95 on a Thinkpad 755CE?  Suspend 
seems to work fine .....only if I'm running on battery.  If I'm on AC 
power and hit suspend, the machines freezes...requires me to press the 
reset button ....bah
