Win95 or NT?

Hi, I have a TP755CE and am considering moving from Win3.11 to much
overhyped Win95 or possibly NT. I see support from IBM for Win95 but
little if any acknowledgement of NT. I'd like to run NT as a
development environment, but don't want to sacrifice a lot of the
features of my thinkpad.

Does anyone have any experience running NT on a pad? Is there PCMCIA
and Docking Station support? Does Power Management work? Is there
MWAVE Modem and Sound support?  What are the gotchas?

My apologies if this is in a FAQ somewhere; any advice is appreciated.
