Question of someone w/ Dock II

   I know this may be a lot..but would anyone try installing a Caviar (Western
   Digital) drive into their Thinkpad Dock II?  I'm now convinced there's a
   hardware problem w/ my dock ii...but ibm refuses to acknowledge that it
   exists.  Basically, I can't install ANY IDE drives and get them recognized
   by the thinkpad.

I installed a 1620 MB Caviar into my Dock II last week.  It works
fine, is recognized by OS/2 and Linux.
