Zipdrive, PCMCIA SCSI

I'm interested in getting a Zipdrive
for my TP755Cs, and am seeking some
suggestions and info.

I know the Zipdrive comes in either the
SCSI flavor or the Parallel Port flavor.
The Parallel Port flavor seems more
portable (I can easily attach it to
other machines) but the SCSI is faster.

So, my questions are - does anyone have
any suggestions about getting the parallel
port version vs the SCSI version?

And for those people recommending SCSI,
do you have a PCMCIA SCSI adapter you can
recommend?  (I am a grad student, so I
can't pony up a premium price, I'm afraid.)
