Datastor Bracket further information

I had a couple of replies so I thought I would add this to my
previous post about the datastor HD bracket. The bracket costs $53.16
if I remember correctly, plus shipping which was $3 dollars I think.
I wasn't the original person that mentioned it, I just was the first,
I guess, to buy one. You can get them from a web site called internet
shopping network. I think the site is at www.internet.net but I won't
swear to it. As far as the drive I have mounted in my bracket it is a
Toshiba 528M drive. It was too thick for the original IBM drive case
so it has just been in the computer loose with the cable from the
original drive. Now, with this bracket, it fits perfectly. I don't
remember the model number and a quick look in computer shopper didn't
find it listed. I think I paid $370 several months ago for it and
have been quite happy with it since I got it. Now that it has its own
bracket I can put the original drive (170M) back together and use it
too. Note: for people just wanting to replace their present drive
Toshiba has a line of 12.7mm think drives, up t 810M, that will fit
in the original IBM case. One ad in computer shopper had the 810 for
$549 and the 540 for $349.
