Help - Will Toshiba #1924-FCV work in 750C?

Hi,
        I'm hoping to upgrade my 170Mb drive to the 540Mb of
the Toshiba.  Peter Borders has mentioned that the 12.7mm x
2.5" drives will fit into the original IBM case, but I want to
know if anyone has actually done this, and what problems they 
may have had.

        Brief bio - I've got a 750C that I bought about 1.5
years ago.  I have a 8Meg RAM upgrade for 12Meg total, and I
use the machine for CAD - CAM and word processing, using 
WfW 3.11.  I'm planning on getting a 28.8 PC Card Fax/Modem, 
preferably one of the new ones that will pass voice through.

        On my wish list is a processor upgrade - fantasy?  I 
remember that one of my prime reasons for getting the ThinkPad
was IBM's advertising that there would be an upgrade path for 
these machines.  Has anyone checked out third party notebook 
upgraders?
