TP705 with DOCK I

HI,

I'm not too sure what ended up on that last message, so
please excuse the garbage of that message. I screwed of OS/2
the TP trying to set up the Docking station w/ an external
hard drive.

Anyways... I was wondering if anyone has experience with the
SCSI port on the DOCK I. The transfer rate i'm getting out
of it even uder DOS is terribly slow (~260 KB/sec :( ).
I download some driver that the IBM tech person said to get,
but they don't work well. In order to get all 3 partitions
to register under DOS/WIN i have to keep the drive off until
DOS begins to boot (so i get those 2 error messages) and then
turn the drive on. I get acsess to all 3 partitions, but at
that slow transfer rate. Under OS/2 the transfer rate is about
670 KB/sec.

I'd appreciate any info. I just got the DOCK back from IBM.
Somehow i fried the I/O board and SCSI board along with the
SCSI cable. Lucky it was all under warrenty :) .

thanks
