TP701C w/New Media Bus Toaster?

Has anyone had any problems/success loading this card
(the SCSI II) in a TP701C?

The New Media Bus Toaster SNIFFER program reports
no memory , io, or IRQ resources available.

The BTASPI driver will not load.
I've tried the configuration for Thinpads from their
FAX Server, I've also tried different Card Services 
software (CARDSOFT). Still no luck.
