I can't comment on the Dock II specifically, but depending on the
card, you'll likely notice no difference between ISA and a local bus
version (assuming the card itself is accelerated). I remember reading an
article about this a few years ago. Basically for an unaccelerated card,
Local bus was critical, but acceleration on the card itself made far more
of a difference than whether it was local bus or not.
My guess is you're looking at an ATI card that uses the Mach 64
chip. If so, I highly doubt you'll be disappointed by its performance,
even if its ISA.
