	Hey Jeff,

	I dont know about the operating temps on the 701, but on my TP750 
Mono i remember going camping up near the Feather River and remeber turnig 
my TP on one cold morning and it wasn't very happy. The screen flickered 
for a long time and the harddrive sounded it was going to give out. I 
wouldn't suggest turning it on outside, regardless of the IBM 
commericals...    (:
