I'm on my third battery in my TP750, and probably going for a fourth
soon (it doesn't help that it sits on my shelf as a Linux server,
although I do try to completely cycle the battery once every week or
two). IBM has never given me a hassle about replacing the battery.
The first time I was asked if I'd done various things to it to see
if I'd abused it. The second time I'd barely said the word "battery"
when the guy said they'd send a new one overnight. I dunno what I'll
do when the warranty ends in November. ;)
Toshiba only covers their battery for a year.
