Suspend/hiberate feature on 755CD in Windows 95 (New topic)

My 755CD seems to do a bad job with Suspend under Win 95, especially when
the power supply is attached. This is a real problem since you have to
suspend the machine to change floppy/CD-ROM drive. What typically happens is
that, on return from suspend, the keyboard and mouse look totally locked up
(I'm using an external glidepoint and APM is at advanced). This may also
happen occasionally with hibernate, though I haven't tested that fully yet.

I have been removing the power before doing a manual suspend (after opening
the cover while port replicated). This seems to work the first time, then
sometimes fail if I have to do it a second time.

Now that I am done whining...have others had a similar problem? Is this a
glitch with the IBM bios that they know about or not, and in any case needs
to be fixed? And does anyone have a workaround for now?

My goal is to have a machine I (A) take in the office, connect to PCMCIA net
and port replicator, power on from hibernate, work, suspend, disconnect from
PCMCIA and port replicator, go home and work (whatever), hibernate, comeback
to office and start from A.

Thanks
