Will IBM fix the 755XX suspend problem?

I am not sure if it is yet time for a petition, but it sounds like the
Suspend on thinkpad 755's is messed up. My characterization is that Suspend
fails (almost always?) when it is invoked and the power supply is attached.
Hybernation also typically fails since it appears to invoke Suspend before
it completes to hybernation. Another glitch is that if you suspend with the
clamshell closed (when port replicated or docked), you unsuspend when you
open the clamshell which wastes time to redo the suspend (this often will
happen with 755CD and 760CD owners that need to change floppy/CD on a docked
system).

Can we ask IBM folks if the following can be corrected?:

--Fix bios/whatever to do a clean suspend when power supply is attached?
--Disable unsuspend on clamshell open when suspend on clamshell closed has
been selected from the power control panel?

Is that all we need? IT doesn't sound like a lot to ask...

Thanks
