the default on the 760CD is to suspend after a while, and it seems like
this can happen even if you are using it -- a definite bug. To get around
this, use Fn F11 to select custom mode, and then go into the thinkpad
screen to set things up so that custom AC mode does not have an automatic
suspend. That solved things for me. Do the same with battery mode if
you are using a battery.
