760 And Dock II -- Any Tricks?

TP'ers:

We have a new 760CD and Dock II.  The Dock II is acting up:
disappearing PCMCIA slots (in the Dock II), sluggish external
TrackPoint, and diagnostic failures pointing to the parallel
port.

The Dock II documentation discusses the 750 and 755 but is too
old to cover the 760.  I'm wondering if we are missing some
critical documentation.

Suggestions are most welcome.  Mail directly to me and I'll
summarize.
