unfriendly 701?

Hello all!

I was wearing shorts just the other day in my home and i needed to use my
701, so i put it on my lap and started it up. 

rather painfully, some moments later, the machine sent some kind of current
through the hair on my legs. (ouch)

has anyone had this problem before?
