Surprise, surprise, surprise!  Hmmmm...2 months...yep, that's immediate
for IBM. :-)

I have a 760ED on order with CDW and my sales rep called me today to
basically confirm the same information...they expect their first 760ED
shipments around May 15th. Since I've been waiting for a 760CD since 
early January, they tell me I'm first in line for the 760ED. 

Question:
Does anyone know if the 760ED uses the same memory as the 760CD or
does it use a new memory configuration?

BTW, CDW also informed me that Toshiba has just dropped the list price 
of its new 720CDT by another $1,000...street price around $6200 compared 
to a street price of around $6750 for the 760ED.  The Toshiba still looks
like a very attractive alternative to the 760ED.  6x CDROM instead of 4x,
and 1024x768 sceen resolution vs IBM's 800x600 (both 12.1" TFT screens).
